AS PER (enacted law Ind. Code 20-29-6-1 effective July 1, 2019) Prior to the formal bargaining season (but not necessarily before September 15th), the school employer and the bargaining unit must hold at least 1 public hearing and take public testimony to discuss the following:

o (1) the right to bargain collectively the items set forth in section 4 (wages, salaries, and wage-related benefits);

o (2) any item set forth in section 7 (items of discussion); and

o (3) enter into a contract embodying any of the matters listed in section 4 of this chapter on which they have bargained collectively. (likely interpreted as the current CBA and its terms)

 

AGENDA:

 

This Public Hearing will address only topics of bargaining which include:

 

  1. Wages, salaries, and wage related benefits of the collective bargaining unit.

     

  2. Discussion items that pertain to the collective bargaining unit.

     

  3. 2018-2019 current collective bargaining agreement between Greensburg Schools and the Greensburg Teacher’s Association which is found on our website @ www.greensburg.k12.in.us
