Greensburg Junior High School received it’s first “Four Star” rating based on the 2012-2013 ISTEP+ results. Anyone who is finished selling cookie dough may turn in their signed order forms at any time. Please be sure to have your name on order and turn in the money for the items to the office.

A new shipment of letter jackets have arrived. Cost is $120.00. They are great for Christmas gifts. Supplies are limited so don’t wait to get one reserved.

Any student who is interested in group counseling and has not had a chance to sign up yet should see Mrs. Caudill or Mrs. Beyer.

 

Archers riding the bus to the HS after school for practice should ride bus 4 or 14. These buses leave early so you MUST HURRY!

It's not too late to join the archery club. Information packets are available in the tower outside of the office. See Ms. Kovacich for more information.

REMEMBER TO CONTINUALLY CHECK STANDS OUTSIDE THE MAIN OFFICE FOR NEW NEWS.  YMCA and others update their activities regularly.

 

The Greensburg Jr. High School is once again collected Box Tops for Education.  The labels are on many different products and every once in a while there are “BONUS” box tops worth more than 10 cents. The homerooms will compete with each other! The top class will receive a free pizza/pop party. 2nd and 3rd place will receive ice cream/popsicles. The end of our first contest will be Nov. 12 so start searching your cabinets and pantries!

 

Students who have taken part in volunteer service activities over the past year should apply for the Prudential Spirit of Community Award.  Students can apply online at http://spirit.prudential.com or www.nassp.org/spirit. Applications are due by Nov. 4th.   

 

Students may now buy drinks and snacks from the snack cart after school. Drinks will be water $1.00, Switch $1.25, and snacks costing $ .25 - $1.00. It will be located outside the cafeteria.
