Field Trips
There will be a sign up time for parent volunteers to help with our trips. It will be during an open house or by a notice sent home. We are limited on our number of seats on the bus, so if you are interested be sure to let me know! A criminal background check is required for the person who signs up to go on our field trip.
Indianapolis Zoo
Our class takes a fall field trip. We will go to the Indianapolis Zoo. During the year, we study about animals and their different habitats. This is a great day to actually see many of the unusual animals that we talk about in second grade.
Local Community Trip
The second grade classes study about their local community in our social studies. In the spring we plan to tour some interesting spots in the Greensburg area.
